Is anyone aware of spint service areas which don't show up on sprint
coverage maps. An example are at least 4 sprint towers located north
east of Knoxville, Tn. The area is on both sides of the Ky/Tn border
along US hwy25 in portions of Claiborne County Tn & Bell County Ky.
There are no local dial up numbers available, and if you either call
sprint/and or go the the service web page and input theses local zip
codes, no mention of service is mentioned

These towers, however, are accurately depicted on sprints tower maps.
Sprint finally explained these towers were build as part of fcc
agreements--also, all calls made from these towers show up on billing
as from knoxville tn. ARe there other areas similiar to these?

They don't have the local coverage map anymore, but Mentor, Ohio's corporate
store on Mentor Ave (US 20) outside Cleveland never showed Mentor on the Lake,
a small community on Lake Erie surrounded on three sides by Mentor.

Sprint has outstanding coverage there, however, with a tower literally
seconds from the Mentor/M-O-L border at Reynolds Road and Lake Shore Boulevard.

I know the coverage maps and the zip code info are outdated on the web
site. They still don't show the coverage along Camp Pendleton in CA
along I-5 between San Diego and Orange County. This coverage has been
up since last August. On the tower maps they still show as future
    towers. Go figure.
