I saw a link to a page on sprints site where you could find out if your
phone was eligable for an upgrade discount.
Anyone have that link or info on if they still will do that?

Like much of their software, this is buggy. This site must access some
old copy static database .
My number says: The PCS Phone activated with this*PCS Phone number*meets
the 18 month age requirement. Yes
And yet I am on a NEW Sanyo RL2500.

Thanks for the link. They must go by when the phone was activated when
18 mos is up, which would be true for this line which is an add a phone
for my sister. However the phone itself is almost 3yrs old now, an old
kyocera 2255 I think it is.

Clarification: What THAT phone was activated on THAT number on that account.
For example, I replaced one phone on my account with the exact same model,
which
I bought from someone else, but that RESET the date!

Re: Phone upgrade question
On the contrary, I recently replaced a dead phone with another identical
phone that I bought on eBay, and the "18 month" date did not change.

Same thing happened to me. Seems to me that Sprint should reset the date
ONLY if it paid for a rebate on that particular phone.

Re: Phone upgrade question
The rebates on the 18 month qualified rebate is for people who have had
the SAME PHONE for 18 months not the same service, not bought from a store
and got the rebates SAME PHONE period.
