It's not what Sprint says, its the misleading impression they purposely
make that is the issue. If they had proper coverage maps, they could be
    excused for the marketing exuberence.

You're a ****ing idiot. In one breath you talk about what SPCS gives you
then in the next slam them. And you wonder why you get bounced from one
department to the next? Sheeeeyit, they know its you and don't want any part
of the heartburn that comes with your incessant drivel.

And for the 100th time, why did you leave ATTW? Their service is waaaay
better than SPCS, it must be --- considering that you've not said a kind
word about SPCS in all of your constant haranguing.

But let me repeat the part I really want to you understand, which is that
    you're a ****ing idiot.

They say that their own network is not a "patchwork" of other
networks, which can lead to inconsistent coverage and service.

It also says that Sprint's network is more reliable, the network
itself covers over 240 million people and Sprint has over 20,000 cel
    sites.

Where does it say that it has 100% coverage in the US?

    I hope this works;
    http://www1.sprintpcs.com/explore/co...=1077658766698

Kinda a large URL, but for the roaming included plans, all off-network
roaming is free (up to 50% of your minutes).

Local stores and the pull down menu on that site have more detailed
    maps.

If the URL doesn't work, go to www.sprintpcs.com

Click on shopping, plans and coverage (to the left), then view roaming
    coverage.

Most of the off-network roaming is analog, so you'll need a dual band
or dual band-tri mode handset to use it.

Only for Corporate plans. Most affiliates offer a fixed number of
    roaming minutes.

Where does it say that it too is a patchwork?

    It's not.

And before you whine "but what about the affiliate markets", I guarantee you
that they were NOT originally built by different companies and folded into
Sprint. You're simply wrong... the networks were all built by Sprint or under
    Sprint's supervision.

Thanks Tech, but that's not the map I was talking about. The one I was
looking for was tagged onto the F&CA explanation and it was in different
    colors.

lol ---- geez, if THAT wasn't straight forward enough for you......

I never seen such a moron in all my days, and I do some reading on NG's on a
daily basis, so there's plenty of opportunity to find a bigger butthole than
Phil. But time and time again he wins the award as the 'biggest idiot of on
the internet' at any given moment. I do wonder why SPCS keeps the jackass as
a customer ---- but do believe that's why he gets jacked around when he
    calls for service.

I meant just my queries --- so that number's pretty close to right, I think

It doesn't because it is not. Your quote says:

    > > > Why is this important? Because many other networks are a patchwork of
    > > > different systems trying to work together. And that can result in
    > > > unpredictable service. Sprint is different. All your voice and data

They're talking about other networks, Sprint had nothing, just a large
bank account, when they started. When the FCC auctioned off the
1900MHz spectrum lisences, Sprint bought as many as they could, nad
built the network up from nothing. It's all one company who built it,
so one company's standard as opposed to several other companies who
all used different standards over the 800MHz spectrum.

But this is als straying from my original question, where does it say
that Sprint has 100% coverage over the US? Not even the roaming plans
    say that you will.

SPCS has never said they cover the entire nation.

True, maybe he should make this statement over on the Verizon forum
since Verizon used to show their "coverage" maps, it showed the entire
country covered, and below, in very small print, it would say
"coverage may vary". They even showed full coverage in northern
    Alaska in the arctic circle.
