Wondering what to do - we attempted to do the Sprint T600 1.0.1xx updater
on our T600 - with full battery etc. and now what it does it is in a retart
loop - and when we press the "on/off" button it wants us to delete data.
pressing no just puts it right back in that loop. We did the hard reset with
a paper clip too. Same results - still that loop. After erasing data, the
T600 works - then when we do a hotsynch - it has to naturally reset - so we
do, and it goes right back to that loop.

Do we need a sprint doctor? LOL... As it is now, there are no apps on the
Treo but it's defaults, and no add on cards etc.

    Thanks

If you didnt uninstall and delete HOTSYNC and reinstall on your PC, then
you may very well be reinstalling the extra App or data corruption that
causes the problem when you do your first Hitsync.

Thanks that sort of resolved things, reinstalling the hotsynch stuff. We
then determined the conflict was with the eurdora stuff.

Someone else said (it was news to me) that Eudora is problematic on a
Treo 600. Palm phones often get wierded out by Palm software that should
work, but doesn't, so ALWAYS install programs one at a time.

Already good advice elsewhere in the thread, but I'll add that in a
pinch, holding the upper scroll button on my Treo 300 would allow the
unit to boot while in the state you mentioned. May work on the 600. It
would at least let me limp along until I could get home and resync.
