OK, I'll stop *****ing about how slow Vision is. (Well, one last
whine...it's so slow that I now use it much less than I did the old
WirelessWeb.) But, what is on Sprint's drawing boards to handle increased
bandwidth? What about other carriers?

It's gotta be your phone or the way in which Vision is implemented for
non-PDA phones.
I went from WW on my QCP6035 to Vision on my Treo 600.
Vision is MUCH faster for me. At least 5 times faster. WW ran at
14kbps max. I tend to get 50 to 100kbps on Vision.

I'm sure u r right about the absolute speeds, but Vision uses color and
graphics while my old WW was plain text. So, from my perspective of using
Vision for mostly reading news and stock quotes, Vision looks much slower.
