Different carriers, different technology.
If you're looking at Sprint, you're looking at CDMA.
For rates, call Sprint, check their web site, or look for
specials in local stores.

Because there are so many plans available from each carrier, and because
many carriers vary plans by region, I would advise you to visit their
websites. You can find several dozen carriers, but here's a few of the
biggest to get you started.
http://www.sprintpcs.com CDMA
http://www.cingular.com TDMA/GSM/Gait
http://www.attwireless.com TDMA/GSM
http://www.verizonwireless.com CDMA
http://www.alltel.com CDMA
http://www.nextel.com IDEN/GSM (No GSM only)

It depends on how many minutes you need, and the options that are offered?
Just go to www.sprintpcs.com, plug in your zip code and see what best fits
your needs.

All else being equal, I'd urge you to go CDMA. It's why I went with=20
PrimeCo way back when, and it's one of the reasons I feel so strongly=20
about SPCS. Eventually, all cellular-style phone technology will be=20
some version of CDMA. More so than not. That's where all the paths=20
lead.
Now, that said, I've yet to find a place in the country where "all=20
else being equal" actually happens.
