Remember when we talked about phones?

Has anyone had any success getting the PM-6225 to provide a vision
connection for a Palm-based PDA? I have an older palm that I'd like to
    sync remotely with my desktop.

Not a connection to a PDA, but to a PC, yes ...

Nokia also says that their phone will sync via IR, and their software -

Has anyone successfully found the Nokia software for the 6225? Nokia
makes mention of the software in the links below, but when you go to
their downloads page, the 6225 does not exist in their pull-down menu
    of phones.

I tried using the 6200 software (the 6200 is the equivalent phone, but
for GSM), and the software does not seem to work with the 6225. The
Connection Manager can see the 6225, but none of the Nokia PC Suite
applications think that a phone is connected.

I have an email to Nokia about...I'll let everyone know when I hear
back. I think that it may be some type of Sprint PCS conspiracy...

No excuse for releasing a phone for sale, and not having the supporting
    software available.

    Well, I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier, but I Google'd
the words "6225 PC Suite" which is what the Nokia software is called.
And guess what? Nokia-Asia has the software on their site...

    http://nokia-asia.com/nokia/0,,55217,00.html

I tried it and it works perfectly -- a little slow, but I was able to
sync my entire address book and transfer some graphics and ringtones
from my PC through IR. Whoop-ding!

Download the software while you can is what I say!

Your PC has an IR port?

Great you found a solution. Bad Nokia doesn't have its act together so
as to have 6225 drivers on its North American website.

I got my old Apple "Color One Scanner 1200/30" SCSI scanner working on
my PC by downloading drivers from Canon Malaysia as there its a Canoscan
    600.

Yes, my laptop (which is a little over two years old) has an IR port.
I've never used it before, but now I'm glad that I have it!

You can also get a USB data cable -- that also works with the PC sync
    software.
