Sprint Corp. announced it will lay off an additional 550 workers by the
end of the year as a result of its ongoing restructuring of its wireless
and traditional phone divisions, bringing the total number of job cuts
    to 2,550.

Including the layoffs announced Friday, Sprint has cut more than 21,500
jobs in the past two years.

And they still have 70,000 employees. So, what's your point?

I didn't say it wasn't a valid post. I just asked what his point was ...
considering he (and everyone knows who that is) didn't include any other
    information from the AP article.

The link was included, and if anything else was said you would complain about
    editorializing.

Oh, since when have I complained about editorializing ...?

Spewing crap, diatribe, false statements, multiple statements, or providing
only half the information, let alone multiple IDs ... sure I've complained.
I wasn't complaining in this thread.

    I just said ... what's your point?

Oh, BTW Phillipe, there is no need for a change of IDs to reply in the same
    thread ...

Another example of the kinds of half-truths that you've been far too=20
guilty of for a very long time.

I was the one who brought your editorializing.

*Not* because you were doing it, but because you claimed you were=20

Actually, to be accurate, you were editorializing and then claiming=20
to simply be posting information. Which is the same thing in any=20

    Re: SPRINT Announces Layoffs

Try apologizing to the 550 **additional** folks who will be laid off.

And apparently the layoffs are because Sprint PCS needs to double its
advertsing budget to try to explain "Fair and Flexible" which is neither.

Not to ignore the base subject, but is it true that some of the call
centers are going to skeleton crews ? Has this happened where you are ?
