    Hopefully, better customer service and reliable computer systems in the
    future. I was in an AT&T store today to see their newest phone models,
    and they couldn't sign anyone up for service, nor could they even take
    any payments or sell any accessories, due to a glitch in the system. It
    made this one GoPhone lady customer very made as her service was shut
    off and then she couldn't even make a payment to get it back on.

    Nope they use Convergys, the same folks causing problems with SprintPCS.

    As usual, not true. It was the move *away* from Convergys that we=20
    abandoned last year.

    Which is not to say the system doesn't need fixing. It does. It's=20
    just not some kind of software flaw inherent in being Convergys.
