Samsung A680 suddenly stopped getting A.I.M. alerts (text messages)?
    Why???

Doesn't matter whether or not I'm signed in on my phone, for no
apparent reason and regardless of what settings I try to change, I
don't get alerts of incoming AIM text messages anymore. Only if I sign
on and click update list (and then see a name listed under
"conversations") will I even know that someone has IM'd me.

Any ideas?? IM forwarding was never activated before, yet it always
worked. I turned on IM forwarding, and it still didn't fix it.

    Thanks for any help...

Were you on a "free trial" plan when you signed up. Sometimes they throw
those things in to get you used to a service and then feel you need it
    later. $$$$$$$$

Nah, I have the same plan that I had on my last phone (A500), and I
can still access and use AIM, I just don't get alerts anymore.
