No, I was asking what that had to do with replying to this thread. Yea, I've
got over 9000 messages in this newsgroup, but so what? I've been on this
newsgroup for 6 years now.

No one is whining in this thread. You initiated this thread, and said you
were already gone with your preconceptions that Verizon would be better for
you, and then ***** at everyone who took the time to reply to you. All
you've been doing here is trolling ...

Oh sure, reasoned dialog ... when you tell folks in your first replies to
them that they are a dick, then tell someone they are pulling information
out of their ass, or then call someone else a sock puppet?
All I can say is that you need to look in the mirror, when you say "No
Insults"
Have fun with Verizon and ... don't let the door hit you on your butt when
you leave this newsgroup.

No, you didn't ask that. You repeated what I wrote with question marks,

So the libelous charge that I'm a "shill" is patently ridiculous in the
light of the fact that you've been defending and patrolling this newsgroup
for more than half a year. If the evidence shows anyone here is getting a
kickback from SprintPCS its you. Conversely, one negative post in this

You sure are. I didn't see a single post by you to the persons who replied
to my initial post with sarcastic, mean spirited garbage. I asked "can
anyone convince me to stay"...and I got back "who cares", "why would i even
try" "you can be easily bought", and a bunch of other trash. Naturally,
you weren't there until I spit fire back........probably because your a
shill.

Actually I didn't state I was "already gone". I stated I was "about to
leave Sprint" and "about to go to Verizon", and asked for any information on
why I should stay. Of course, nobody offered a damn thing...just trolling,
insulting nonsense (much like you). And Verizon having a more efficient
network in New York City is point of fact...stop debating it, you look like
a fool.

second and check what I was replying to.

I'll be here for as long as your lying, sniveling trolls continue to

Defending SPCS? I don't know whether one can define whether I defend them or
just explain what I know about coverage, phones, etc. I have never actively
promoted SPCS in this newsgroup.
See here's where you have already lost this discussion, when declare I'm on
SPCS's payroll, or getting kickbacks. I've never received one red cent from
them, save for the same rebates most if not all of us, have received when
getting phones, etc.

Why would anyone care, when you've already said you are going to Verizon? As
to answering your initial post, I was fifth one to do so. I did not
initially reply to you because you said that you were already going to
leave.

Wow, not only a shill, but also a liar. For a person who's never owned a
Verizon phone, you jump in here with snide comments about their axiomatic
superior coverage in New York. Give me a break.

Side-stepping the issue. Your original argument was that I came out guns a
blazin insulting everyone and anyone. Clearly that's been proven to be a
lie, so you've conveniently switched gears. Don't trip with all that
backpedaling, Bobby ole boy.

Subject: Re: Verizon first in Consumer Reports satisfaction survey
Look at Nextel's own web site (which you are quite fond of quoting).
http://nextel.com/about/corporateinfo/profile.shtml
Target Audiences
-Enterprise
-General Business
-Vertical Markets
They don't mention going after the individual user, for obvious reasons. I
know of none of my friends, relatives, or colleagues that would put up with
Nextel's coverage unless they have another phone to use when travelling
outside the urban core.
The reason for the Nextel sponsorships is that they believe that the viewers
for the shows they sponsor include the decision makers for the target
audiences that they specify in their corporate profile. They don't expect
much response from individuals that have no need for PTT, but they don't
turn away these customers either.
You seem to think I have it in for Nextel, but in reality it is you who were
so upset over Nextel's ratings in the Consumer Reports survey that you came
up with all sorts of bizarre and unsubstantiated excuses and
rationalizations. At first I was shocked to see the stuff you posted, and
how blatant the misleading statements on Nextel's site were. But when I look
further, I'm less upset; even Nextel doesn't claim itself as a service that
is a suitable replacement for regular cellular or PCS service. In the
context of their stated target markets, their statements are less
outrageous, though still misleading.
I've updated part of my web site with some of the material you provided.
http://www.nordicgroup.us/ssub/fraud.htm . You provided some excellent
examples of how important it is to learn how to dissect marketing and
advertising claims.
We have a Nextel phone in our family. I have nothing against the company.
Nextel serves its target audiences well, and has carved out a profitable
niche. I originally declined to include Nextel on my own web sites. I felt
that it was unfair to apply the same criteria to them as I applied to other
carriers, especially the importance of ubiquitous coverage; their target
customer is clearly not the person who cares about coverage outside the
urban core.
My web sites provide referenced facts, as well as informed opinions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------
The link provided above by Mr. Sharf is a page that appears in navigating
the nyccell.com site. You'll notice his last claim of using "informed
opinions" (no mention of user reviews). I also invite you to visit the page
referenced above and comment on the inequity of opinions for each carrier.
I called him out on his opinions, and he chose to make my example of the
moment (Nextel) his newest target. You'll also notice that he is ripe with
opinions in the above post, many of which make it into the website, and are
not the result of user reviews. The data used is a compilation of publicly
available information, and none is produced as a result of any survey or
base research by the website.
Based on the inclination of the webmaster to editorialize as a result of a
Usenet post and the very slanted negative attention given to one company
proves that it is not the unbiased site you are protraying it to be. Read
the entire thread some time- you'll see that the update to the website came
as a direct result of my pushing his buttons.

I just proved otherwise. As far as supernews goes, quite frankly it's

A clear lie since according to the links you provided you're using
Earthlink, which provides access to Usenet for all its customers.
So which is it? Got banned from using Usenet on Earthlink for being a
moronic troll? hahahahhahaha

If you think I'm reading all that tripe than you should stop holding your
handset so close to your temple. Post the link or shut the **** up.

Haven't you left yet? Start posting over in the Verizon group if you
are so hot on it. Just switch your carrier from SPCS to Verizon and
leave.
Don't go away mad...just go away.

What? I responded to your post, refuting every claim you made with
the facts that I have experienced. Neither of us is right or wrong as
we are each one person and TWO people extolling their experiences is
highly insignificant in the statistical universe.
Further, what you state about Verizon being more efficient in NYC is
NOT point-of-fact. It is what YOU extrapolate from looking at the
data YOU found. It is not easy to evaluate data like this that is not
purely objective, as service that is OK to person B will NOT be OK to
person A.
Let me know if you didn't understand any of the big-boy words I just
used.

So, let me get this right- you can't be bothered to read the post here, but
if I post a link to it, you'll read it there? Must be troll logic. Bottom
line- I posted everything you need to verify that the words contained in my
last post were written by the owner of your beloved site. Your refusal to
read his words (which can be verified through Google) and claiming it to be
'tripe' is pretty funny. You accused me of slander, and I refuted your
claim. Your inability to read plain english is not my concern.
As far as your handset advice goes- I'd give you the same advice, but there
might be logistical problems in getting both the phone and your head up your
ass- your head seems to taking up most of the space at this time.

Did that- you were either too lazy or stupid to read it.
>otherwise you're slander will be regarded as unsubstantiated

My post proved otherwise, which is why you claimed not to read it. That's
OK- I'm sure others read it and drew their own conclusions. Your public
refusal simply boosts my argument.
You are the perfect troll toy- so easy to play with, too stupid to realize
that its happening.
