    The high volume on my Sanyo 7300 is really annoying. I need to keep it at
    the lowest setting.

    I went and got the firmware upgraded yesterday. It helped a little bit, but
    very little.

    Samsung...His seems to cup the ear and the Sanyo seems flat on the
    ear. My old Sanyo had one ear hole but the 7400 has 4. That should
    help
