How does one get downloaded ringers to be as loud as the ones that came
with the phone?

Perhaps it's the actual "quality" of the ringers, at hand.

Some of the ringers that you can download for $ really blow!!!! I downloaded
a classic phone ring tone the other day and even at full volume, it is not
loud enough of my Sanyo 7400. I was ripped off. I previewed the ringer on my
PC before downloading it and it sounded really good. Buyer beware. On the
other hand, the ringers that I downloaded from free sites performed very
well.
