I dropped my LG 325 in the base of a boat while sailing - there was
some sea water there so it got momentarily soaked. Right now the *741
keys and main select key keep on being triggered so the phone is
    currently useless.
Some friends have said to take out the battery, clean with fresh
water and dry it and it will be okay.
I took out the battery and tried to open up the phone to clean it -
but I can not figure a way how to take it apart. I need to do this to
wash it with fresh water, but more importantly to ensure it dries
properly. Does anyone know the secret to taking these phones apart?
    Thanks -

Even if you can open it up, without damaging the frame, and are able to
flush it out with fresh water and able to dry it out, your circuitry is
probably shot with the contact of salt water.

You might consider it a doorstop ...

You can try fed expressing it to LG to see if they can do anything with it.

By the by, if you purchased that with a credit card that offers insurance on
damaged products, you might be able to make a claim.
