Tonight, and it is not the first time....
I am getting the following message when accessing WEB services (Messaging
services are OK!)
Thank you for
visiting PCS Vision
We're in the process
of upgrading our
systems to better
serve you.
We regret the
inconvenience.
Please check back later.
Started sometime before 8PM EDST, on-going as of the time of this post.
This has happened before..
This is in area code 937.
Is this happening elsewhere? Anyone know the reason? Duration?

Re: Vision Outage(Partial)
I am still having the same problem in Southern California. I wonder if this
is part of the EVDO upgrades. What could explain such a widespread outage?

Re: Vision Outage(Partial)
Was there a reason given for the outage?

Seattle, 9/10/05 10:25pm PDT - still down (but bookmarked sites work).

Ditto, I wonder what would happen if we all called Sprint and asked for a
service credit for the down time, I plan to.

What down time? It's only the home page that isn't working. Bookmarks do
work.

And you think that matters to most of the people on SPCS? One person
mentioned that the outage didn't really matter; if they didn't intend to
use the service during the outage.
The opposite is true as well. What if you only use Vision on the handset
a few times a month--and this month it didn't work during those few
times. And again, not everyone is gonna magically realize that bookmarks
still worked (if they even know how to use them on the phone). The
cryptic "error" message certainly did nothing to help convey that fact
("Please check back later").
BTW: It's back up here in north-western AZ.
