TREO600 CDMA (For Use on Sprint Network) + plus TREO600 Keyboard +++
This unit was given to me at the Tucson Sprint Store as a replacement
for a Treo 600 that would no longer charge. The SAME DAY I bought a Treo
650 since I had been using the 600 for two years and was eligible for
the discount.
This unit comes with the actual Treo 600. It has a screen protector on
it but I am including a package of Fellow screen protectors. These
protectors are LARGER than the Treo screen and must be cut down but it
is a very easy process and the package included a mini-card to smooth
out the bubble.
It includes a charge/hot synch cord.
It does not come with a SD Card.
Although this Treo 600 does not come with a card,I can sell you one of
my previous ones $25.00 for a 512MB (this card was filed down and sealed
because they stuck way out on the original Treo 600s and were
constantly falling out but it works like a charm. OR for $75.00 I will
sell you a 1 gigabyte SD Card.
M O R E! this auction INCLUDES a portable keyboard for the Treo 600
effective making it the micro-top that everyone wants.
No Hassles, No Regrets. This is THE DEAL. Phone (ONLY ON SPRINT
NETWORK!) your choice of SD expansion cards (if you make that
selection), charging and synching cable and KEYBOARD.
Now, let's be complete. This auction included the original Treo Sync CD
and the printer driver CD. The upgraded drivers are available free at
www.palm.com but you should have the originals.
Please contact Jai Michael japb (at) qwest (dot) net.
The selling price is $210 with no cards. Add $25 or $50 if you want a
card and depending on which one your one (512mg or 1G)
I AM AN INDIVIDUAL PALM USER SINCE THE PALMV AND HAVE SOLD PALMS HERE ON

You do know you can buy brand-new 1 GB SD cards for less than $75,
right?

Oh, now it's $50. I guess you did know.

Then why are you shouting?

Let's make what, confusion? Before it was $210 and now it's $270? You do
know you can get brand-new Treo 600s on Ebay for around $200, right? Now
$210 might be an OK deal if you want the keyboard and are willing to
accept a device that has been in use for two years (think: battery for
starters). But IMO $270 is a bit steep.

Well, he said that it was brand new. A replacement for one which would
no longer charge.

Well, it would be nice if he actually said that. But he didn't. Not in
either of his duplicate cross-posted messages.

If he was given a brand-new replacement he would--or should--have said
so. He didn't. Since Sprint doesn't carry brand-new 600s, it's highly
doubtful the replacement unit is new. This, IMO, makes its history even
worse--as it is unknown (too many reports of replacements having more
problems than the units they replaced).
But yes, perhaps the battery is OK (or at least not as bad as the one it
replaced). I'd still rather get a brand-new unit for the same price--or
less--than a replacement unit with unknown history (with probably little
testing--if any).
And I stand by my comment about the two different prices. Want to
cross-post a for-sale item on Usenet? Then be prepared for public
comment.

I'v had two great experiences selling my old Palms here. It would be
nice if people like you would read what I wrote before you reply. I'm
ready for whatever you want to bring on. I made a typo in the price at
the end I never said the 600 was new. It can't be it is factory
refurbished. Also it has not been in use for 2 years. I NEVER used it
and god knows if it was made 4 months ago or whenever. but it is in
perfect condition.
Ciao. I'll auction it.

Apparently not this time, since it's been well over two-weeks since you
crossposted your original spa... err "for SALE" ad. Ahem.

It would be nice if people like you could follow their own the threads;
and reply to the correct post.

What exactly are you "ready" for little fella? You want to crosspost a
for-sale ad on Usenet? Then you better be prepared for public comment.
This ain't a one-way street.

Yea, "whenever" is right. But "4 months ago?" Not a chance.

That's cuz you didn't sell it. Now run along to Ebay and see how much
they are going for new...
