Looking over the posts in acs, sprint has a major outage, at least
citywide, once a month.
Now if we check for outages starting on a Monday, you get a good idea
if these are related
to weekend "upgrades" or just plain lousy service. Vision, VM, website,
combined, something
crashes big time monthly.

Wow, look at them dates...so over at least a 7 year span, there have
been "166 outages". Spanning the WHOLE USA. Hey, can you do an outage
check for Electric companies as well?

Did that incident make any newspapers? Strange how a google search of
ACS shows monthly reports by posters of outages that appear to be city
wide.
VZW and S sure advertise alot in newspapers and on TV, and few citywide
outages are ever covered in the news, co-incidence???
A.C.verizon show no citywide outages reported by posters in 2005.

That was just a sample from a Google search "Sorted by relevance". Sort
by date for "outage" and a little reading will show CITYWIDE outages on
average, once a month.
North, South, red, blue states: S sure doesn't discriminate.

Preemo SPCS service in Clovis:
"Last one lasted for perhaps 10 or 12 hours! Totally out, no service
anywhere in town. Well, roaming worked, so it was strictly Sprint that
was
out. Earl Needham"

I think your tinfoil hat is falling off. You may want to straighten it.

I read both groups, idiot. I want to know what "citywide" outages were
reported by Sprint customers in 2005 in this newsgroup. I sure didn't see any.

Oh Bull****! If you are going to post something, post something current. All

Wow- you found three. What a goldmine of information.
What percentage of outages does this represent? How does it compare to
other carriers? Do you have any information on other carriers? How does
this pattern compare to landline telephone, DSL, ISP's and cable
entertainment providers?
Of course, I don't expect you to answer any of these questions with even the
slightest bit of information. Beside it being way above your limited
comprehension level, answering them truthfully would seriously deflate the
hard-on you have for Sprint. And it would make the conspiracy theories you
have concocted seem even less believable than they are now.
But thanks for posting- I need that ocassional reminder that the uneducated
lunatic fringe is still alive and well.

Three instances, is that all you've got? Vision down in two of those three?
I remember those posts and it was not that big of deal. Vision was down for
a day or so, but it had no effect on voice calling.
As mentioned, all wireless carriers experience outages, and the above were
very minimal incidents.
