Just got the A900. I tought you could use it on Vision. Nope high speed or
nothing. Tomorrow it goes back

The salesman said no way. I called Sprint 7 times talked with 3 managers.
No way period. No one said it will work on vision. It goes back today

I think the problem is that this guy wants a Vision-only pack, but
they're only letting him get Power Vision.

Even then, I don't see the problem. There's a Power Vision pack for $15
that does the same thing (just much faster) that a regular Vision pack
would do.

No I need to send pictures so I need thge 20 dollar package and now that
does not include text messages. The phone is returned and I am back on
regular vision on my old 10 dollar plan with text messages etc.

No that was my old plan and they gave it back to me when I put my old

First, EV-DO is not available in all locations, so most people
are still "using Vision," regardless of their plan.

And, again, while my wife had to sign up for Power Vision when
she purchased her A900, she soon "downgraded" to a more basic
Vision plan.

perhaps you do not live in an EVDO area. I was told by everyone I called
There is no downgrade from evdo to plain old vision. I was told by a
manager there would be an extra charge wo re configure my phone to vision.
I gave up and went back to the 8400 Sanyo.

Either the manager's wrong, you're wrong, or both.

The phone doesn't have to be reconfigured to utilize a non EV-DO signal.
