I saw on sprint's web site the 700p was now listed; what amazed me was the
650's price had not been dropped at all.

I noticed the same thing. I don't want the 700P, because it is basicly
just a powervision version of the 650. I was hoping to score one for
less than $200, new.

I wanted a 700 till I saw it was the palm pilot OS ugg sticking wtih my 6700
for awhile I think

Because 700P is not a significant upgrade from 650. Furthermore, 700P might
be soon obsolete as Sprint is implementing V2 of PowerVision network. I'll
wait for 750.
