Not all of the channels. In particular, XM Radio Online is missing most
all of the talk, news, and sports channels. You do get a few AOL Radio
channels, not available on sat, but they don't amount to much (IMO).

You also can subscribe to XM Radio Online without being an XM Radio
    subscriber.

    Try this link in PIE:
    http://www.xstreamxm.com/mobile

There is also at least one app that adds a nice UI to XM Radio Online
    (on a WM device):
    www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=21871

Not sure how well this will work over EV-DO, but I assume it should work
fine if you have a decent connection.

Ah, I see I still have Tinman in my filters. But I will respond to
the above by saying this: the fact that there are millions of people
willing to buy Treos only proves that there's a sucker born every
minute. Go to any of the online Treo support forums (or that of any
"smart" device for that matter), and you'll see that at the launch of
EVERY Treo model, there are countless technophiles drooling at the
chance to be the first to get the latest and greatest convergence
device, and once they finally have it in their hot little hands, they
spend weeks complaining endlessly about how BADLY the device performs.
They find glitches, crashes, bugs, and then ***** about how
disappointing it is that the manufacturer would ever allow such a poorly
    implemented device to be released.

After the several-week *****fest, you'll find that these users
ultimately align among two camps: those who have decided to put up with
the flaws, and those who have ebayed their devices so that the next
sucker can buy it on the cheap.

A year later, a new device is released, and the cycle starts again.

I hung on until the Treo 650, then I got off the converged device
bandwagon. Some people will put up with mediocre; bully for them.
Eventually though, they tire of it, like I did. I am not convinced any
converged device maker will ever truly match the capabilities of
discreet components. And as long as there are suckers in the world, the
converged device makers don't have to try.

    Yes, it does.

It should. In reality it will probably require a PRL update, as the PRL
is used on EVDO devices to indicate which markets have the feature.

    > Will it be a seamless and cost-less thing to use EVDO?

Nothing ever "costs less" in wireless. The best one can hope for is to
get more features, while the cost remains level. Likewise with EVDO,
you'll pay the same amount (or more depending on your plan) for greater
speed. But it will not "cost less" than 1xRTT.

    So what are you advising?

Buy separate devices such as cell phone and PDA?

    What advice?

It's a terrible idea. PDA and cellphone's were made to be
combined. Who the hell wants to look up numbers on a PDA and then
have to type them into a cell phone? Even if you can use bluetooth,
    it's still a PITA.
