I forgot to mention that I am looking for a clam shell phone that
has good voice quality and bluetooth. I don't care about vision or camera.

Good luck. :-) I'm still using an an old phone, but I did get to play
with the Sanyo Katana recently. The best you can do with it is to
transfer your contacts to the phone (as far as I could tell). I'm not
sure whether it's Apple's or Sprint's fault, but neither seem to be too
motivated to add iSync support. You might want to look into the BitPim
app to see if it will work for you.

I am only looking for transfering my contacts from my Treo to my wife's new
phone so that I do not have to type them in.

Does katana support vc transfer via bluetooth?

The rumors of an Apple phone for early next year seem to be fairly
creditable this time around, so maybe the thing to do is wait for that,
see if it meets your needs for a phone, and go with that, changing
carriers if necessary. It will surely sync well with Macs, and probably
    be a terrific phone, too.

Motorola Razr V3's sync with iSync out the box (iCal, Contacts, Address Book).

I don't think Sprint Razr (V3M) works with isync. It is not in the list on
Apple's site. I believe isync only works with GSM phones, atleast that is all
I see on Apple's web site.

I transferred .vcf contact information from the Mac to the Katana via
Bluetooth using OPP (Object Push Protocol, I think).
