I recently saw an article that ATT had a plan of 200 anytime minutes, 500
    night/weekend minutes for $29.99.

This was a plan for seniors. Unfortunately, I now fit into that category.

Does Sprint have senior plans? If not, I may have to switch after my
    contract is up.

Sprint's "Basic" Plan is open to *everyone*, and is *better* than AT&T's
    and Verizon's over 65 plans.

Sprint's Basic Plan offers 200 anytime minutes, *unlimited* night and
weekend minutes (starting at 9 PM), and unlimited M2M for $29.99.

You can switch to Sprint's Basic Plan today - no reason to wait until
your contract expires. It will not extend your contract end date.

I don't think that this plan offers M2M included, even with a
    2yr agreement. It's $5/month as an option.

Perhaps, but they're certainly up early enough to use off-peak before it
switches back to peak time at 7AM! ;-)

I was going to make a smart remark about seniors being asleep by 9 PM,
    but thought better of it.

I started a mass exodus from the old AT&T Wireless in one retirement
community after AT&T jacked up their prices when Cingular acquired them.
I told my mom to dump them, she told her friends, and it became a
movement to T-Mobile prepaid, and OneSuite long distance (because
everyone had been using free off-peak to call their kids and grandkids).

$30 on PagePlus buys you about 550 anytime minutes.
