    I've got an A500 and I am still waiting on my local Sprint store
    (Hickory, NC) to get the VH16 update. Does anyone know who to contact
    at Sprint (management) and fuss about them draging their feet about
    getting updates. I understand that there is already a newer update out
    and available. So they are way behind. Especially given the amount of
    time that the VH16 update has been out.

    First of all it is VI16 not VH16. All Sprint stores have/had this update
    as well as the new version which is WD29. At this point it makes no
    sense to get VI16 as it was a bad version. WD29 is much better. If they
    tell you they don't have it they are either misinformed or are lying.

    Not true. A tech must download the firmware files from the Sprint
    Intranet. It is quite possible for the store to still not even have
    the VI16 update. You have to talk to one of the actual techs and ask
    them to check their tech web site and download the update.

    If they won't do that you will have to go to another store...

    I don't buy that. The VI16 update came out last December. If they still
    haven't downloaded it by now then they must be complete morons.
