For new customers: what kind of phone did you pick out when you signed
up with Sprint? Did you go with a Vision phone... or the free
    (voice-only) Nokia phone?

Retailers: How many people have purchased the free Nokia phone to start
up their Sprint service in comparison to people who bought a Vision
    phone?

Just curious... because I think the Nokia is a great phone. It has
tremendous reception and has the danger of being overlooked just because
it doesn't have web capbilities. For people who just want a voice-only
phone, this Nokia would be the way to go.

I chose the Sanyo 8100 because a few people told me that Sanyo made the best phones, and yes I went with the
Vision plan. I had used Nokia phones for 4 years with SunCom (AT&T Wireless) before switching and the Sanyo
has far better sound quality than my Nokias ever did.

maybe he's just curious dude. I don't know what difference it could make to
    you anyhow.

Sanyo phones are the best, but the little nokia is a good phone also.... I'd
say it's 50/50 as to what people go with.

Yeah I was just curious. I think the Nokia is a great phone for
voice-only. I find it a tad disappointing that Sprint took all the web
capabilities out of it (especially short mail), but with how Vision
    works, its understandable.

I was just wondering because I'd hate to see a good phone like the Nokia
go unnoticed and overlooked when it is a fine phone. I hope some more
    faceplates come out for it.
