Depends on the phone. For Vision phones, there's no charge. Wireless Web
phones, like the Samsung A460, they *do* get charged. The Wireless Web
service plan provides for getting 50 in a month, then a dime each after
that. Then there are so-called "Wireless Web Messaging" plans that allow a
bucket of notifications. I think 50 is like $2.99/month, and 500 is
$10/month. I'm not rock-solid certain on those pricing points, though.

    Re: NOTIFICATION charges?

Osiris, could you elaborate on the "For Vision phones, there's no charge"
part. No charge regardless of whether i have an "unlimited Vision" option on
my plan on or not ?
I have a F&C retention plan without Vision ... and was told i will pay for
data usage per kb. I still have the free wireless web option on my plan, but
since i have a Vision phone now i assumed that is no longer useful. Is that
    correct ?

    Thanks,

    -Bum

As far as notifications go, correct. Even without a Vision plan. At least,
up to now, I've seen no charge that could be associated with notifications.

It's more than useless, it's costing you money for something you're not
using. Get rid of it yesterday. Now, if you simply feel like spending
$5/month, I'll be happy to take that off ya for a nice Mickey-D's meal once
    a month
