In todays Seattle PI newspaper, there was an article (AP wire) in which
it was stated That a deal has been struck, "for all of Qwests wireless
customers to be moved over to SprintPCS and IT'S national network,
including all Qwests wireless customers in Washington state".
I have read the other thread here about this happening, But how can it
be so, If the two companies are using different technology?

They aren't using different technology. They are both using CDMA.

Not only that, but both Qwest and Sprint run strictly 1900MHz.
I don't recall whether Qwest has any analog areas.

Qwest doesn't and never has had analog areas.

Doubtful. Is Qwest truly does use only 1900MHz, it would most certainly
be all digital. I don't think any cell carrier has done AMPS in 1900 MHz.
