Re: Watch out for Roaming charges on FCA

I would imagine that even though the FCC requires them to keep
their amps system up for a while longer, that most carriers once they
add a digital system, maintenance of the amps system may not be top on
their list. They certainly would not be spending any time or money on
    improving it.

Perhaps true. But you have stated that the method doesn't even work most of
the time. And you keep posting in every thread that it is time to call
executive services. You have made your point and then some. Hence, give it
    a rest.

On the subject of roaming charges, I have yet to have found a CSR that
knows how to properly apply my FCA free roaming to my add-a-phone. I
have to call each month to have it credited. The first month i signed
up to FCA, they didn't even apply it to my account.

FCA works great once everything is straightened out, but make sure they
apply credits as opposed to just prorating you out to the end of the
    month.

The coding shouldn't have to apply to the add-a-phone, unless there is some
old coding on it. It applies to the whole account. The reps should be
checking to make sure that #F Roaming is on the account, and remove any old
    coding on the add-a-phone.

I think you were mistakenly told there was a number portability
patch for a phone that was discontinued years ago. AFAIK there have
been no software upgrades of any kind for those phones since they were
    discontinued.
