Actually, yes it is. A company loses less than 3% of its subscribers,
that's small. It's most definitely leaving room for improvement, but
    that's small.

    $62 average per "unit" (handset/device). Versus $60.60 for AT&T. $68
for Nextel. $51.80 for Cingular. $50.37 for T-Mo. And $49.22 for
    Verizon.

We need to do more, but it's not the apocalypse, Peter.

Please don't start with the handset units. We all know you can't keep up
with the prices and discounts of handsets.

Well, who are you going to believe? A person who works for SprintPCS, or a

I would believe the consumer 99.9% of the time. The employee is
trying to make his employer look good, which is impossible to
do with the abysmal Sprint Customer Service, rated last
by the NEW JD Powers study.

It's improved to only 3.1% per MONTH with SprintPCS. Thats 37% per year.
IT's HUGE. Thats why there are the sweet retention deals. Thats why
there are the shenanigans with secretly putting people on new contracts.

More incorrect statements from Phillippe. The churn rate, as reported by
yours truly and a number of others here, is 2.4%, as listed in SPCS's 2nd
    qtr 2003 financial report.

Why do you continue to post inaccurate information Phillippe? Why haven't
you yet explained why you started up a new ID called Richard?

Only one fly in Mr. Smith's argument. SprintPCS is still not a
profitable enterprise. It loses money EVERY quarter, because it has to
maintain low prices to get customers, but it has the high churn rate, in
part due to Customer Service being difficult for too many people.

Re: SprintPCS to ATTWS to... SprintPCS??

I agree... AT&T Wireless CS seems to be getting worse with the GSM
service... and SprintPCS is getting better. I have phones with both
    companies.

AT&T was a horrible mess a few months ago when they were trying to
transition me to GSM from the TDMA system. While the CS has gotten better
on the GSM site, I see AT&T representative aptly trained and unknowlegable
    about the system.

I had problems with my GSM handset and AT&T was useless in the attempt to
get the problem resolved. When I've had problems with SprintPCS handsets,
the store could easily replace the phone. I had to jump through hoops to
get AT&T finally agree to mail me a handset. This after going between AT&T
blaming Nokia and Nokia blaming AT&T's system. I spent a full week trying
    to get it resolved.
