I'm with you on this Phillippe. He should have been entered into the hall a
long time ago ...

Your ability to fabricate whatever "reality" suits your hissy fot of the
day certainly is impressive, Justin. I'll give you that much.

Kind of like you fabricating several "reasons" (which you never listed) why
Nextel would want 1900 as opposed to 800 MHz spectrum.

I didn't have to. the Nextel CEO himself stated them.

You said reasons. No reasons were gave in that article except for the fact
that 1900 MHz is useable spectrum in the US.

Why does no record of Nextel coveting 1900MHz show up via Google?

Answering my own question here..
Costco had really good prices on phones. The N400 is $119 without
activation (cheaper with) and includes a car charger and a holster
(its $149 itself at SprintPCS) . They only had 4 models but all were
value added with accesories and about 20-30% cheaper then anywhere
else I've seen.
I also saw a cheap non vision phone phone at my local Sprint Express
store for $20 without activation (about the same size as the 4900). I
can not remember the model but it was a good option for my kids as it
was extremely cheap. I am still thinking about buying it just in case
they break another one.
Bottom line though.. I went to a full Sprint store and had my 4900
checked out. They gladly replaced it under warrenty with another
4900. I was not charged an activation fee and my contract was not
extended like others like to think happens all the time.

I didn't have to fabricate anything, Justin. The story itself listed
them, as did the Nextel CEO.

Please relist them. The story had ONE - count "them" - ONE reason why
Nextel wanted the spectrum. That was that it is useable in the US. Please
stop twisting your already weak sources.
