    Cc'd to the combatants...

Rob and Justin carped at each other,

    >> You are being an ass.

    >
    > Sure, Justin, sure. With your track record of hypocrisy, there is *no*
    > credibility to that.

Guys? Can we let this drop? Between Phillipe and the ongoing feud
between the two of you, the traffic level in this newsgroup has risen
to insane levels. I log on in the morning, after having left the
newsgroup for 12 or 15 hours, and there are hundreds of posts -literally-
that came in while I was off Usenet.

It's obvious to everyone and anyone reading this newsgroup for more than
the past day or two that this is an ongoing dispute that will never be
resolved. All the dickwaving in the world won't change that, nor will
either of you be able to change the other's mind. Ever.

    Thank you...

I've dropped the posting once. Whoishere and Rob continue to be asses. I
    cannot control that.

What you CAN control is YOUR responding to it. No one's forcing you to
respond, any more than anyone is forcing anyone else to respond around
    here.

It takes (at least) two to bicker. If one decides he no longer wishes to
participate, the bickering will stop. If the other keeps being childish,
well, then it reflects poorly on him, not on you. Your excuse sounds
like a child's: "Mommy, but he MADE me do it."

That's right. Why you're singling me out makes no sense, since I already
    agreed to drop it.

I'm not singling you out, but you're the one who whined about not being
able to control what the others do.

I fully agree. This Usenet is here to help people, not to serve as an
    all-out flame war.

I still see some people trying to get me going, but I am mature enough
to ignore it. Even after this message is posted, I'm still seeing it.

I won't get involved with the crying games.

If I see a post that asks a question and I can answer it, I'll post a
    response.

Thank god I don't subscribe to this Usenet via email.

No kidding ... what a pita that would be, to see all these arguments arrive
    in the inbox ...

I'm gonna do the same, save when I see misstatements posted as Phillippe did
last night / this morning ...

Yeah, I can usually tell the apologists from the sane posters based on
whether they jump on just my case or just screem at us all.

LOL! Good, then I'll presumably have the last word when I point out

you were lying when you claim to have killfiled me. ;-)

The same place you pulled the "whining" from. Or the fact that you
lecture me instead of Rob. Take your pick.

In other words, you're pissed that I addressed you instead of Rob; so
you made it up with nothing to support it. Thanks for clearing that up.
