Instead os "flaming each other", I wish people can post more useful
    information.

Below are promotion plans from ATT, Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobil.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Got junk mail offer from ATTWS all the time for free phone+free headset.
Got a new offer from Blockbuster the other day for ATTWS.
Beside free phone and free headset, they add 200 bonus minutes forever as long
as you stay in that chosen plan($29.99 and above) plus unlimited long distance
and unlimited free digital roaming(?) and night and weekend(start at 9:00PM).

So for $29.99 mLife Local Plan, one can get 250+100+200=550 anytime minute +
free long distance + free digital roaming

If you are a "Valued Blockbuster Member" and are interested in this, might
    wanner give them a call.

Unfortunately, this deal only valid for 45 days. Hope they have new deal after
    Nov 24.

The phone# and offer code are
eight six six - seven four nine - two three five five
    code: zero zero one two

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Saw this today on LA Times.
    $45.00 a month
    1000 anytime minutes
Nationwide long distance, every minute, every day
"With this PCS Free&Clear Area-wide Plan for Los Angeles, you can call to
anywhere in the US from anywhere in California and Nevada while on the Sprint
    Nationwide PCS Network."
A picture shows Nokia 3585i for FREE after $100 instant or mail-in rebate with
activation of a new line of service.

9/27/03 mentioned in a couple places under the fine print.(interesting date)
Night starts from 9:00PM in the fine print.

Does not mention PCS2PCS monthly charge.
Does mention Free unlimited family calling(Pcs2PCS). Offer available with
activation of two new lines of service.(No $5.00/month pcs2pcs charge?)
    $59.99 for 2 Samsung A460.

The fineprint also limits customers ok for this plan to certain cities only.

    Comparing Verizon and Sprint
    1000 min $45.00/Sprint $39.99/Verizon
    Area CA/NV CA/NV
    Long Distance included Extra charge
    Unlimit Night 9:00PM 9:00PM
    Unlimit Weekend yes yes

What you neglect to clearly state is these are all "Local" plans.
And the map of what is local varies from company to company.

Great if you're always at home, horrible if you travel at all. If you
travel for work, or take long out of state vacations, then one wants a
national plan, where prices are usually ~$20/month higher.

You go to another state, every minute is a high priced roaming minute if
what you have is a local plan and you're no longer originated your call
    in that local area.

When I called them, they said, it's 200 min/month, not 200 bonus minutes.

I doubt those promotions can be stacked. There is almost always a
disclaimer that it can't be used in conjuction with any other promotion.

550 minutes for 29.99.........The MOST you can get for 29.99 is
    250+100=350. I don't now where you think you're getting another 200
    minutes but that's not true.

Mr.T is correct, the only way the 200 additional can be added is for a
39.99 plan or up... and even then you wouldnt get the included minutes
    PLUS 200 PLUS 100... you'd only get the 200.

If you get the right rep you can get 250+150, ld included with 500 mobile to
mobile with unlimited nights and weekends for $29.99. It has something to do
    with a "save" code.

I got an unsolicited mMode magazine in the mail from AT&T.

It offered me a free Nokia 3595, a free handsfree Headset, and tons of
    Anytime minutes.

Anybody know how many "tons" equates to?

There sure is. I ought to know since I have it. When I check online it says
the mobile to mobile fee is waived. I had to call back about the m2m minutes
but they fixed it. I also still get my extra 15% for the foundation account
affiliation that I cancelled due to not being able to view my minutes.

    Check out this:

    LOCAL PLAN $29.99

does it say the price of a plan? the minutes will most likely reflect
the price of the plan, unless its a go phone (a prepaid service)

Who cares if ATTWS gives you 3000 Anytime minutes for $29.95 if the god
damn thing cant hold a call, drops calls, goes directly to voicemail, cant
handoff calls from one cell to another. Why bother when you have to tell the

Funny, but that is exactly how Sprint PCS works in my town. Their non-GSM
plan works great, but has a limited phone selection (at least for us
    non-hackers).

    AT&T's non-GSM plan, that is.
