My 14 days is up, got my first bill on the Free and Clear America Plan. No
roaming or LD charges are supposed to apply.
Well, I got nailed for a bunch of roaming charges on a trip we made out of
state, am on hold listening to the music while they try to fix it, hope they
can.

Re: Watch out for Roaming charges on FCA
I'm standing by to travel, and I will exceed 50% for two months. 3 CS reps
are pretty consistant that 3 months in a row would make the "bad boy" bell
ring. But here and there, exceeding 50% in one month is not a concern of
SprintPCS.
I'm anxious to hear his reply. And calling CS is a pain for SprintPCS.

Re: Watch out for Roaming charges on FCA
Kevin is correct, you are generally given a 3 month grace period before
they begin to talk to you.
The 50% rule is to just avoid people from activating sprint phones who
do not live/work/play in the service area. It can expensive...

Kevin,
Get names, dates, EXACT promises, and company ID's from everyone who
promises you this.
*My* understanding is that >50% roaming any two months within a 3-month
period will get you removed from F&CA.

The story continues. On the phone, Sprint correctly identified that the
charges were incorrect, it took them awhile to figure out why. I don't
understand their explanation, something an "LR" code not being properly
attached to me <something or other>. They promised to issue credit.
I check my on line invoice a few hours later.
My bill went up another $14.
I will be on the phone again later.

Well for me I roamed over half of my minutes used for 3 months on my FCA
plan. Nothing was said so I called CS because of all the chatter here. I
spoke with two different reps and Explained that I had not used over half of
my purchased minutes roaming, just over half of my minutes used. They both
said I was fine with nothing to worry about. And so far my bills have been
correct.
I also program my A500 to digital roam rather than analog roam. Seems that
did not matter either.

Re: Watch out for Roaming charges on FCA
I'm not sure where I picked this up, but somewhere it did say half of
the minutes used, which seems strange.

Ooh, I'm Phillipe, I'm going to grab my red phone and call Executive
Services for every problem, heh, and I'll tell everyone else to do it.
That way, exec services will get so flooded with people wanting small
credits that they will burn out and then I will win in my goal of
making Sprint worse for everyone.
