I was wondering if anyone here has used or know someone who uses Virgin
Mobile prepaid? What have you heard about them... good or bad? I know
they use the same network as Sprint, but I have been tempted to try them
out because I don't use my phone as much as I once did... and I like the
fact they have real sms. Sprint's network has good coverage in my area
so it is not a problem.
Does anyone have any opinions on their phone selection or customer
service? Do they use the same customer service people and call centers
as Sprint?
Thanks,
Eric

works fine for us -
it's just the $20 every 90 days that gets ya
if you really don't use the phone hardly at all -

Re: Anyone use Virgin Mobile?
different customer service and phone selection sucks as with all
prepaid. The phones are low quality and expensive but do work fine. If
you use any internet it will get expensive as with sms. They are a
great company to go with.

Re: Anyone use Virgin Mobile?
just another dif -
the phone can't be used as a modem with a RS232 cable -
the phone can't be used as a general browser to websites,
but only to the VM selected services sites -
(there's no way to enter a URL - only can click pre-defined ones)
but - the SMS really works - which is weird since it is the SPCS network -

Re: Anyone use Virgin Mobile?
I've been using Virgin Mobile for 4mo and I like their service. I'm a
casual user, $6/month average so far, so Virgin Mobile is most cost
effective.
