As a follow up to this thread and going in a different direction, I'm
curious whether anyone in this newsgroup, who doesn't have Vision on
their acct, has been charged separately for data usage. This would
include TM's-Short Mail - IM's, accessing email sent to your
sprintpcs.com address, surfing on the net on the phone, or via a phone
tethered to a laptop.

If anyone does pipe in, please include what activities you were doing,
and how much you were billed.

Well, at risk of somebody at Sprint noticing, I will pipe in.

I cancelled Vision a couple of months ago (June I think). I have used
Vision (CNN surfing mostly) on average of once per week while waiting for a
meeting at work to start. We also send text notifications to our phones
(my wifes is a 2G data ... A460, my phone is an A500) via email, perhaps 4
or 5 per week. I have never been billed for even one KB of data usage for
either phone (my Vision phone is the primary phone on the account). But
then, I suspect it doesn't add up to squat either.
