Just picked up one there this afternoon for $149.99 with no rebate. I
kind of like the 3585i's red better than this grey though.

Chris,
How is the screen quality on it? Does it get good signal strength and
reception? How does it compare size-wise to the 3585i? I have a
3585i, but I always thought it seemed a little on the bulky side, but
its a great phone.
Thanks,
Eric

Exact same as a 3585i with the same great signal strength. Screen
quality is very nice with the clouds wallpaper(about 10 others to choose
from), but it is very dark when the light goes off and the clouds are
still there with the light off. I personally liked the 3585i's red case
as opposed to the grey one that came with it.

You buy early you lose. It's now FREE at the SprintPCS website.

LOL You love Sprint so much they'll take you for $150 when they know (Brabndt
knew, so all must have known) it'll be free in 2 days.
SUCKER.

With a new line of service you moron-read the fine print, that's
something you always forget to do.

With a new line of service-you're guilty of reading the fine print too.

WRONG - You the one that didnt read, and it aint even fine print.
Without a new line of service you just have to wait for a rebate.
BUT IT'S STILL FREE. Its such a bad phone they only way they can unload
them is to give them away. No Vision, no sms.

Try and get the rebate form, they always say they don't have them. This
phone is great! Great reception just like the 3585i, nice color screen,
will have SMS when SPCS implements it in a couple months and I don't
care about Vision.

>=20
That is *so* guilty of ignoring of standard industry practice of=20
creating an entry level model that can be given away (and still be a=20
quality phone) that it's got to be deliberate.
The free nature of a phone with the basic features this one has says=20
*nothing* about its quality. There's post after post here about how=20
happy people are with it, and only ONE complaint with it.
Readers here can believe the troll who thinks 15 hours is the same as 15=20
minutes, or the people who are actually using the phone. People who've=20
actually used the phone in real life wins that comparison, every time.

You get what you pay for. You pay nothing....

And in my case, you get a nice little quality phone like the Nokia
3585i. Great signal strength, great voice quality and great durability.
Until you try the phone out for yourself, you can't make a personal
opinion about it.

I don't know... I have heard it is the same as the 3585i, except it has
a color screen and sms capability (when the service becomes offered by
Sprint). I ordered one and it should be here tomorrow.
