I was visiting another forum and they were talking about microwaving
their phone for only a few seconds. Just enough to fry the RF Pin but
not cosmetically damage the phone. Has anyone ever done this or seen a
phone that this has been done before? Just wondering cause I know a few
in here work in the stores. I'm interested to know what it actually
does to the phone.

I believe Sprint's gotten wise to this one. If you look on the back of
the newer phones, there's a small white square sticker on the back of
the phone with a red pattern on it. If the tech examines this, they can
tell if the phone has been subjected to certain things that void the
warranty.
I know moisture and heat are two things that will set off this
indicator. Nuking the phone may also do something to it. And I also
believe complete removal of that sticker means "what warranty?"
