Well Tom, I already have a moderated listserv on Yahoo. A small one,
but it works nicely. I don't think I'd want to be a moderator for a
group, where one would be spending most of their time, with folks
registering with different ID's ... or folks with their own vendetta
agenda on either the company or other posters in the group ...

It's turned worse than a cesspool Steven and I don't see it improving
until Phillippe fesses up to the need to change his ID's and Justin
    decides to quit ...

It's a shame what this newsgroup has turned into, as it use to be a
nice place. I'm guessing that those folks who do need some help or
advice aren't posting much now, as they don't want to get attacked in
    the newsgroup.

I have no problem with a group on Yahoo. Just do not expect to see me.
There are a few personal problems with Yahoo groups ,Moderated groups
and web based forums. First lets start with Yahoo groups. You have to
sign up for an account with Yahoo giving any kind of fake information
you want. How many people just looking for quick information are
willing to join for a one shot deal? As it stands now they can look in
a newsreader, Google groups, PhoneScoop,Sprintusers,.... to get here.
Moderated groups tend to make a lot of the mods power trip. That in
turn leads to another alternate group which keeps going till there are
too many and no one shows up to any of them. Web based forums tend to
ask for cookies and people start posting in html, javascript, active x,
jpegs,.... Well there you have my view of it. Not that I post much
since lurking is my main thing in here.

Or people who say they'll stop posting and continue to search for
    reasons to jump on people?

Or people who call for a "truce" then continualy attack others?

Or people who change their name to avoid the filters on a weekly
    basis?

Or people who continualy bring up the SAME THING OVER AND OVER AND OVER
    again?

There are other moderated Sprint PCS message boards, such as
Sprintusers.com and howardforums.com , and when Rich puts up his
(assuming though PhoneScoop) I'll post and contribute there.

OK. The problem with Yahoo groups, is that when my ISP has thier spam
blocker set to High then all posts coming through the group are deleted
as they come from the individuals addresses not from a centralized
    server.
