Because I would really like to see the policy that Brant is describing
(because I know it's wrong). It is truly prople like Brant making
contact with customers spouting off what he thinks is policy that causes
Sprint probelms. I would like to see him put up or shut up.

Good, I understand that feeling myself. But your frustration shows, by
calling him a "peckerhead" and that is not beneficial to anybody ...
considering the context. In all fairness, I have told Phillipe (or was it
Justin) to **** off at least once before I finally plonked the prick

Once a phone is returned, if it was activated it must be sent back to
sprint. Any retailer can NOT turn back around and sell the phone. Stop
by any Radio Shack, Best Buy... and ask them what they do with returned
    phones.

    I work for SprintPCS,
    I DON'T speak for them.

You know the exact policy he is talking about, and you also know
exactly why he can't post it here.

FCC regualtions state if a phone has less than 15 minutes of usage, it
can be sold as new (Note: FCC REGULATION - any carrer can do this), you
also know SprintPCS's policy is 1 minute of usage, so any usage on the
phone and it either gets sent back to the warehouse (if it is defective
and/or more than 14 days) or if it passes the HP tester and is in
excelent condition, they'll wipe out the phone, update it with any
software or PRL updates that are needed, and make it a "pre-owned"
phone to be used as a warranty replacement.

No they won't and you and I both know this. How many reboxed phones
have you seen still attached to service. Sprint will make you send the
phone back IF you do not have equipment to test AND refirbish the phone
(usually to a store that does to "keep them in the market"), if this
cannot be done locally (such as Telesales, direct fufillment, etc.)
these phones are sent back to the warehouse and "reboxed" and sent out
to different channels (like retail) and sold as new. Besides you and I
both know Brant doesn't have a clue as to what he is talking about, he's
a SWATter at Costco with no access.

Wrong, just ask TechGeek. Any Return that a Sprint Store receives, if
it is in good condition, has been activated less than three times, and
passes the intenal RF test, may be kept at the store. The last time I
checked the Sprint stores were retail. But then you know everybody at
the Sprint store and tell them how to sell.

Where they are not kept as a NEW phone after being used once. They are
adjusted into a "pre-owned" status and used as warranty swaps.

Remember the good old days where we could buy them. (1/3 off for pre
owned, then 15% off for being an employee, ahh the fraud)

I didn't play the "fraud" game, even though I knew much better ways.

I kept my plate clean so stuf wouldn't come back later to bite me in
the ass, now I work very closely with the logistics and fraud
    departments.

It's nice to see you are keeping yourself off the streets.

So what do you do with fraud ( is it just handsets, or the ever more
    common returned accessories fraud)

You are correct for Radio Shack through the end of last year at
least, and probably still now and for the other stores as well.
Returned activated phones at Radio Shack had to be sent in to be
    refurbished.
