    It's one of those words that's acceptable to pronounce
    either way.

    Another case of toe-may-toe toe-mah-toe.

    I was thinking more along the lines of "her ass" ment and
    how that pronounciation was no longer "legal" in the eyes
    of the PC police.

    Doesn't matter. It's intent that count. If they are attempting to
    impersonate a Federal Official thats afelony.
