Well I just signed up for a year with T-mobile, and I got my T610 for
    FREE, and couldn't be happier.

Service is great, I get good penetration in buildings, and the phone is
much better than my old Sprint phone. Most importantly, I now have
Bluetooth and can use my PDA to check email at minimum added cost.

Sprint really dropped the ball this time, and made me switch even
though I have been with them for over 5 years.

I encourage the rest of you who are waiting for Sprint to release a BT
phone to explore their other options instead of waiting around in the
hopes of the T608 coming out in the near future.

Good for you. I loved the T610 myself, but T-mo coverage sucked where I
go to the point that the phone was completely useless to me (nothing at
    home or at work)

How, exactly, is it the fault of SPCS that a manufacturer suddenly exists t=

    Whatever.... Who cares ?

I agree, people should start looking for other options around.

The least SprintPCS could have done is come clean, tell us the truth
about the phone. But No ! Rather all the trolls on this site and some
others are still chanting the mantra of T608 being on the horizon...
    coming sooon..... blah blah blah...

In fact even I have looked at Amazon's site for the free T610 and nice
$19.99 BT headphone to go with the T610.

Jusging by the totally contradictory info posted here by SprintPCS employees,
one could easily conclude that at least some had no idea what they were talking
    about.

+ S/E has exited the market
+ Just needs a firmware update
+ We have a warehouse full of them
    + In about 2 weeks.....
    + They have bad reception
+ No one wants clip on cameras anymore

    Pick any two.

Good riddens!!! I am tired of hearing about the ****ing T806 and
blootooth! Big deal! I am totally content using my 8100 with a USB
cable that charges the phone too! Yay!!! It takes 1 more second to hook
up the cable, but at least it adds to the battery instead of draining
    it!

As usual, Phill, you display your unwillingness to remain honest. =20
Several of the points you quoted weren't put out by SPCS employees. =20
Whatever the release date may or may not be, the T608 is not yet=20
    cancelled.

    Re: No T608, hello T-mobile

Not really sprint's fault, unless the ONLY bluetooth phone you are
planning on offering is a t608...

BTW, this is the same reason I left sprint and went to T-Mobile.
T-Mobile's data is slower, but I can leave my phone in my pocket when
I want to surf on my pocket pc. It is just nicer all the way around.
One less cable in my fanny pack is one less cable in my fanny pack.

I have only one other gripe about Sprint. Whe I signed up for service
back last December, I was getting 60k to 80k on my laptop using my usb
cable. I signed up for a year's contract on the spot. Then, inside
of three months, Sprint limited the data throughput on their towers in
Utah to 28.8. It really chapped my hide, but there was nothing to do
about it until the blessed number portability fiasco let me out of my
contract a few months early last September.

Other than that, I think Sprint is a good company. A heck of a lot
    better than Verizon anyway.

And as per Rob (O/Siris), I think you do a heck of a job. Keep up the
good work (seriously) and thanks very much for the sometimes thankless
(shame on that multifaced troll) service you perform here on the ng.

Then shut your bloody ears, or stop reading posts with T608 in them. No
one cares what YOU are content with. You probably are happy with a bald
women with hair on her beer gut, but why does it concern me if you have
    low standards?

We are not hooking the phone up to our computer, but to our PDAs, and a
cable from PDA to phone often does not exist, and just doesn't make
sense when wireless options are ubiquitous except on aforementioned
    carrier.
