    I don't know how much I can get into it, but they have swapped spectrum in
    some of the less busy cities for more in some busy cities just to keep up
    with voice demand. I'm not saying it's maxed out, but it's already set aside
    for current traffic.

    So the manufacturer's estimate, which is typically optimistic, is that
    carriers will *begin* to offer 1xEV-DV about 3 years from now. Yawn.

    Sprint's busiest market is NYC, and they only have 50% of their
    spectrum allocated.

    Qualcomm will have their chips out next year, Nokia is sampling theirs
    now. I don't think 2006 is unreasonable.

    That's one of the ones they swapped for I believe. Even so, the way sprint
    operates, if they can't do it in every market they won't do it in any. This
    is one of their core philosophies.
