Not at the same time, but you can move a SIM card between the two as
    needed.

    K thanks -

When you switch to say a XL6700 and it is primarily email focused with the
keyboard and all - how do I text my buds?

What I need to probably explain is my company frowns upon Texting so I need
a workaround. I need to text - is their a web-based texting portal if you
will? I could go to the verizon website and type in a text but forwarding
from the site doesn't work for all phone brands - while sending a text from
a verizon phone will hit another providers phone. Follow me? How do I keep
texting feature, without actually texting from phone and to phone as a
phone. LOL I know I'm babbling...

Cant you text them via e-mail? I.e "[email protected]" for a T-Mo
customer with the number 123-456-7890, etc.

How about using your own phone instead of the company's? I assume they'd
frown on you receiving incoming texts as well, and I also assume if you
"need to text your buds" they'll "need" to text you back.
Teach your buds how to e-mail you via text (the procedure varies by
wireless provider but most providers offer that feature- you send the
text to a specific number- I think T-Mo uses "500" and the text starts
with the e-mail address, space, subject, space, body.

    Ummm... I think that's called "e-mail" isn't it? ;-)

Ok now I know what to ask.

Can you have a web service receive SMS texts so you can view them online
instead of on the phone? I know you can send.
