I bought an Audiovox Snapper CDM-8915 from Virgin Mobile to replace my
old Virgin phone. The new phone has a built-in camera. I found out that
if you want to download pictures from this phone you must send the
pictures to a MyPix area on the web, to another phone, or to an email
address. Audiovox offers a data cable and software (part #MOK8400) for
their other phones. But Virgin said that the Snapper CDM-8915 is not
compatible. Just an FYI for anybody doing research about Virgin phones.

The following is an abridged email dialogue with Virgin about this
issue.
"The Audiovox Snapper is not compatible with any data cables or
software,
and the use of a data cable will invalidate your manufacturer's
warranty. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Hi,
I just bought an Audiovox Snapper 8915 phone with camera. Audiovox
offers a Data Synchronization Kit (#MOK8400)to connect to the PC. Will
this Kit work with my new Snapper? Is there another Data Sync Kit that
will work with my phone?"
