Greetings!
Does anyone else have this problem - when you make calls to or receive
calls from the same number, does your phone not log in each and every
call?
If your phone does like mine does, it drops all but the most recent
call, thereby not allowing you to keep track of your calls accurately to
compare the log to the bill you get from Verizon to see if there are any
billing errors.
Does Verizon have any responsibility to provide phone equipment that
keeps accurate track of calls made and received where airtime is incurred?
LG - the company that makes the phone I have - says that their phones
can keep track of multiple calls made to and called from a particular
phone. But they also say that the cell phone companies like Verizon
program some features out of phones. This might be one of the features
that Verizon programs out.
What do you think?

Re: Logs of calls made/received not accurate
Well, first, I think that discussions about LG phones are probably not
getting the response they deserve in a Motorola NG.
Secondly, no, VZW does not have an obligation to provide you with call
accounting hardware or software other than to ensure that their own billing
equipment is working properly. You, of course, are free to note every call
for later comparison.
Motorola provides details of the last 10 calls received, last 10 calls
placed and last 10 calls missed on many of their phones. Other brands may do
things differently.
Perhaps those in the LG group can tell you how to manipulate the features of
your phone.
