siemens sk 65 with nextel sim

is it possible to use a nextel sim in this phone model? I have heard of
nextel sim cards working in siemens phones but i have inserted my sim
in this phone and all i get is "network search." i have also inserted a
cingular sim in the phone and that one works. any suggestions? any help
at all will be appreciated!

Ok, Nextel is 800-MHz iDen technology, and the Siemens is 850/1900 MHz GSM.
