Nextel iDen phones use SIMs as well, so it probably works with them as
well, (meaning Nextel to Nextel. You can't put an iDen SIM in a GSM
phone or vice versa...)
CDMA phones, however, have a programmable NAM ("Number Assignment Module")
built into the phone rather than a removable SIM, so the carrier has to
be involved in any phone changes on an account.

so for al practical maters it is GSM phone then?
