Hi experts,

my new used car has got a built-in hands free set. A sticker on it
says 'nokia 6310i only'. I could get a nokia 5110 whose connectors fit
in the ones in the car. But neither does sound from the phone get
through the car's speakers nor does the it's microphone submit
anything to the cellphone.
A second hand electronics dealer told me that was due to the mobile
phone's software.
Is there a possibility to update the 5110's software so it will work
like a 6310 in my car?
