Manual says:
Settings => Connection => Bluetooth Link => Setup => Power =>
On/Off
Seems user-unfriendly for something that somebody would do
several times a day in order to prevent draining the battery.
Is there some way to program the smart key to toggle Bluetooth
power?
Or am I off base on the 'draining the battery' thing?
Do people just leave BT on all the time?

I never turn BT off, unless I'm in a situation where I'm actively trying
to squeeze an extra standby hour out of the battery- i.e. away for a
weekend and forgot a charger, etc.

I've heard estimates of 10-20% faster depletion when on vs. off, so it's
negligible IMHO.

I always have will all of my BT phones. On my current phone, a T-Mobile
MDA, I leave BT on all the time, but toggle Wi-Fi as needed- Wi-Fi really
kills the battery!
