Wait just a little longer. The Nokia 5800 Expressmusic is waiting for
FCC approval and will be online soon...
It's a Symbian OS 9.x open source phone. The hackers are going to do
for it what they did for my N800 Internet Tablet. Nokia is giving away
the SDK kit to anyone who wants to play.
The 640x360 display, as you can see, is more intense than iPhone. No
Apple app store hobbleware, either. It comes with a whole year of
UNLIMITED music downloads from millions of songs at ExpressMusic,
Nokia's answer to iTunes. AND...you get to KEEP the music you download
from it! After the first year, there are many plans for more music on
the menu, including all-you-can-eat.
Who knows how the CARRIERS will hobble it up so you can't use it, as
usual. I'm sure that will be its limitation...carrier hobbleware, same
as always.

The iPhone fanbois are in full attack mode, but the sleeping giant of
Nokia has awoken and he's got the funding of the biggest sellphone
company on the planet behind him. If it's half as good as the N800
Linux tablet, I'll want one....(c;
==================================================================
Does your current smartphone have Bluetooth DUN tethering? If so, why
not slip the bonds of sellphone jail and come join us on the "Dark
Side" with a tethered N810 Linux tablet. There's only 265 free apps
"released" on Maemo.org's OS2008 website, tonight. Of course, that only
counts direct apps. Some of the apps are Virtual Machines that convert
the tablet into video game emulators, the Garnet Palm Pilot VM that runs
all the tens of thousands of Palm OS softwares, etc. It's hard to keep
up with new stuff, any more. I had to go buy a Wii Remote because the
hackers have it bluetooth interfaced to the silly tablet, now...(c;
There's pages full of video and audio players for it, even an app that
creates a self-updating TV channel playlist for KMPlayer (a front end
for Linux's mplayer that plays almost anything). A new WorldTV99
version was released, today, with about 40 new TV stations on it...
We make phone calls on Skype, Gizmo, Fring, almost any VoIP system, over
the sellphone data link or wifi it snags very well.....
I don't like sellphone-carrier-controlled phones telling me what I'm
allowed and not allowed to do....that sucks...

Give you a good web site on iphone, www.gizmograbber.com ,many items
on it, the function of ipone just the same as apple ipone,and the
price is also very reasonable.
