Are you counting the points non-reputable posters? Non-reputable posters (new members or members with low post counts) don't count towards our actual reputation points/bars...but do they count for this competition?

yes - as stated in the rules only positive helpful post ratings count. While you do get reputation for helpful posts, the contest isn't based on reputation, and if it was it would make things too complicated. I did a quick check on who was doing ratings for the top 3 and there is no significant amount of new users doing a lot of rating on anyone's account.

Keep up the good work everyone! The race for the top 3 spots is still close!

And don't forget the prize for the most post votes!
